Network News: October 7, 2007 will mark my 8 years on the internet with some form of web site or other. A monment of silence please.............;) AND THANK YOU ONE AND ALL!!!!!! See a bit of history on the About page.

Network News: I haven't posted recently because of a throughput problem with my ISP. Couldn't get a FTP connection. Probably because of fires, heat and floods in the MidWest.

Network News: Nothing major to report except the rebuild/reinstall of my graphics computer went very well. Now back to daydreaming of a new computer and the upgrade to my real time computer mentioned below in the Thursday, August 02, 2007 post.

Network News: I'm in the process of rebuilding my graphics machine. This rebuid included a new DVD drive and win XP. The drive has been bunged for a while now but XP was a "had to finnally do it" sort of thing. I Just could't bring myself to install 4 floppys and 6 CDs to get a win 2000 install up so that hardware drivers could then installed and on to the sofware........*!*!***!!!!!!);> Well I have put it off for to long and it does set me back on purchasing other software but the deed is done.

The rebuilding part comes in where I'm reorganising the internal structure of my hard drives and DVD drives. Some time in the futrure I will add 2gig memory paired memory, 2 SATA drives, 500 watt power supply and new video card.

So anyway, it will be a while before I can get back to updating the network. At least when it comes to major content and graphics.

Network News: Updates have been slow because I'm focused finishing the Seige Tower Plan Set as a PDF. This is almost complete. The text will be polished and imported. Then Ziped up and off to my file host.
UpDate061507: A Major Revision for HobbysOnline network! I have dropped the following sites: Paranormal, Science Xtra and Network Files. I have Merged 3D Games with 2-3D Graphics. 
And I trimmed Photographers down and renamed it Photo
Gallery. Why? Lack of interest on my part for the sites I dropped and everthing eles was for the sake of better browsing.

Network News: A few updates on Network Sites. The Siege Tower model plans set is nearing completetion on the CAD level. Next will be image processing and then assembly of the PDF. It's a lot of work but I enjoy creating the plan sets. And I have the pride of knowing that others will build a historicly accurate model of a Siege Tower from the plans I have created. This plan set like the Catapult plan set will be available for the low cost of $5.00 for the PDF, more for other formats.

Network News: Sorry about the lack of updates. I've been finnishing up my Card Stock Catapult model. It is a complete and very nice PDF model set that can build a Card Stock or Foam Board model along with a simple Box model to use a place holder or what ever your imagination leads you. Network News: The Forum is very stable with no problems. Email is working but you will have to store images and files remotly and link to them. The Chat Room seems to be stable and remain in service.

Network News: In looking over the WIKI landscape I have decided to hold off, at least for the future. My reasoning being that the free/open source WIKIs are more than I want to deal with and the easy to manage paid for WIKI isn't in my price range. For now we have the forum.

Subweb News: Updates and content are still being added at random.

With the forum update expect to see a Classified section where members of the forum can add posts to offer items for sale, jobs, resumes and just about anything retlated to hobbys.
