Careers

Be Inspired. Be Skilled. Be Competitive.Ìý

‘Every child has every opportunity to open doors in their future, through our ambitious, individualistic approach to careers, which prepares our students for adulthood.’

What is the purpose of our careers programme?

We aim to raise aspirations, challenge stereotypes and encourage students to consider a wider range of post 16 options and careers. In addition, our careers programme provides students with the opportunity to develop character, employability skills and high standards of professionalism, to ensure they are prepared for the world of work. We strive to ensure our students understand professional conduct, organisational skills, a drive to be dedicated, the ability to show and feel pride and to have values that will support them in being good people. Through careers education and guidance, we encourage students to develop on their talents, find their interests and we support them in applying for the right next step route for them, regardless of their need or ability.
