| Coming soon Model Railroad Color Pallet for Photoshop the name is version 2.0
and is ready and will posted soon. Does not match with the work in progress
Model Railroad Paint Formula Guide. Version 2.0 has a good
representation of colors from many railroads.
Update042106: I have added several bits of info to the
Trains section. And I am now at work on a
second Photoshop color pallet of Model Military colors. This is not as
accurate as my Federal Standard Pallet but will work for those that want
a good representation of the military colors from around the world
and of a certain time, WWI to modern day this will do nicely.

| The Federal Standard Color Pallet for Photoshop is now in version
2. This new version is organized in numerical order and grouped by
colors. I have made a few necessary changes and cleaned the pallet up
and the read me has some added info. Go to
Files NET to download. I am working on a new pallet
containing swatches of fluorescents (warning signs and barriers) and new
metal, earth, etc.... colors. Expect to see this soon.
Part2 of the Military Color Reference Guide is in progress but it
looks like at least a month of prep work so be patient.

| Update111005: I made some changes to
the file format (made the jpgs smaller) of the pages that comprise the
Military Color Reference Guide part1 and now the PDF is a 9meg zip file.
This will be made available for download very soon. Also work has begun
on part2 of the guide. To say posting it for download within the next
month isn't out of the question. Update110805: Go to
Files NET and download the FS Color
Pallet for Photoshop.
The Federal Standard Color Pallet for Photoshop is complete. It
only needs to be zipped, then I will post it for download.
I also have compiled the PDF book comprising the first half of the
Military Color Reference Guide. But having a modem connection this 40meg
file will have to wait for upload.
The second half is in the works so try to be patient until the
complete guide is ready. In fact the second half of the book is the more
intrinsic because it contains many charts. These charts reference for
example older FS numbers and other military color standards.
In essence this complete guide is a box modelers color reference
and at the same time a reference for the Photoshop FS color pallet I
have created. So
both PDF books will be must have.
I will eventually upload both parts of the Guide for download but
you can order them burned to CD, including the PS color pallet for the
low cost of $5.00 S&H.

| Did you ever want or need a Photoshop, Color Pallet (Table)
containing color swatches which are numbered to follow the Military Federal Standards for paint matching?
Well I'm working on one right now. The source is from actual paint chips
not printed material so the swatches will be very accurate from the
start. With each swatch labeled for the FS number it represents.
Keep in mind that there are limitations because of scanning and
the way Photoshop itself interprets the scan. In particular with
metallic and glossy colors but I have tried for the best interpretation.
That said you will at the least have a much more realistic 2D or 3D
representation with this FS color pallet than without.
I'm also working on the a PDF version of the very in dept manual
that is the source for the paint chips.
In the near future I will be posting a text version of a model
railroad paint formula mixing guide. This is a text version but I
planning to convert it to spreadsheet format and compile a Photoshop
color pallet. I'm not sure if I have enough recourses to put a color
pallet together but the spreadsheet is just a matter of setting aside
the time.
